I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Moxie

We're happy to tell you that Moxie has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Cats Page to see the cats currently available.

Hello, my name is Moxie and I am 2 years old.  I'm a pretty long-haired kitty looking for her forever home.

I was found as a stray during the Summer, and I had some company with me.  I was pregnant and I delivered my babies in a shelter.  I'm glad I was safe in a shelter so that my babies were warm.  I was a good Mama, and all my babies found their forever homes.  You would think the shelter would say it's Moxie's turn for a home.  Nope and it's ok I stuck around a little bit more in the shelter because the Workers noticed I was very interested in some orphan kittens.  I love to nurture little babies.  So, they let me stick around a little bit more to help the orphan kittens and then it was my turn to find a forever home.

Sadly, I didn't get any families come for me to adopt.  The shelter workers tried but everyone knows the kittens get the interest and us, older gals are in the backdrop.  But 2 years old is not old!  I got lots of life to live and I will just be patient and wait for my family.

I am in a foster home now where there are other cats, dogs and kids.  I like all of them.  I like my foster Mom the best because we get a lot of lap time.  I like it when my foster Mom holds me and pets me.  I purr really loud to show her how much I like it and to thank her for fostering me.

I still need a forever home but this time I get to hang in a whole house, not just a cage.

My rescuers gave me the name Moxie because I have spirit, determination and courage.  I think that fits me purr-fectly.  I have spunk.  So, if you are looking for a spunky kitty - I'm your gal!.

xoxo,

Moxie
