Why Do Rescues Have Adoption Fees?

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Treasured Animal Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs

$400.00 - Puppies/Dogs aged between 0 months through 5 months
$400.00 - Dogs aged 6 months through year 1
$400.00 - Dogs aged 1 years through year 2
$400.00 - Dogs aged 2 years through year 9
$275.00 - Dogs aged 9 years and up

Cats

$175.00 - Kittens aged between 0 months through 2 months
$175.00 - Cats aged 3 months through year 1
$150.00 - Cats aged 1 years through year 2
$150.00 - Cats aged 2 years through year 10
$125.00 - Cats aged 11 years and up

Fees for Dogs with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.

Adoption Inclusions:

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Treasured Animal Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the dogs. At adoption, Treasured Animal Rescue dogs will be current on their vaccines and will have the following:

Dogs

Rabies (1 yr. or 3 yr.)
Distemper (DHLPP or DHLPP-C)
Bordetella
Negative Heartworm, Lyme's, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis Test
Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered
Microchipped

Cats

Rabies & FVRCP
Test for Feline Leukemia & AIDS
Worming
Flea/Ear Mite treatments
Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered
Microchipped
Adopting 2 kittens under 4 months each deduct $50
