Hello, my name is Gaia, and I am about 11 months old. Can I tell you my story? It's a short story because I'm a young gal but my foster Mom says my story is going to continue because I have a family out there waiting for me.
I was found as a stray, and I had a HUGE belly. I had babies in my belly, and they were ready to meet the world. Can you believe a young gal like me having babies? I was only 5-6 months old. Just a baby myself. But just because my belly was big - I wasn't. See, I must of been on my own for quiet awhile. I was really skinny. My whole body was bones except my belly.
When I got settled in my foster home and sure enough, out came my 7 babies. I had no idea what I was doing and was so grateful my Rescuers helped me. My kittens were very small and sadly, some didn't make it. My Rescuers knew I was struggling to be a Mama and so they took over.
I then got to be a young kitty girl; not a Mama and you know what? I love it! I love being able to have some take care of me and I get to roam around the house. In my foster home I have other cats and dogs I get to play with.
I love to hang out in a cat tree or look out a window. But my favorite spot is where my foster Mom is. I love it when she's on the computer and I lie by her. She gives me an occasional belly rub. But watch out! I like to sit on the keyboard. Maybe I'm sending a message to you?
I also love to enjoy your food. Maybe it's because I was SO emaciated (minus the big baby belly) I love food. I like to share the mealtime with my foster Mom. She knows I love chicken but might seem silly, but I also love butter. Butter on toast or bagel - kitty de-li-cious!
I can't wait for my family to come meet me. I love to be held and if you have kitty treats - I'm hooked! Remember chicken is my favorite.
Let's have a play date so we can start our friendship!
Thanks,
Gaia
