Hello, my name is Missy, and I am 1 years old. I have beautiful long, brown hair that women would kill for and if you look closely, I have little tufts of white fur coming out of my ears. My Rescuers think I am a Norwegian Forest mixed with Brown Tabby.
I was found in a shelter in TN. I was there for a few months. You might think that's sad that being in a shelter is bad. No way! It beats being outside, in the cold and trying to find food. Plus, a young gal like me can meet some boy kitties and really, I don't want to be a Mama.
I was in the shelter for a while because sadly, nobody likes to adopt an adolescent cat let alone a shy one. But Treasured Animal Rescue saw my picture and said send her to us!
So, I got my Freedom Ride and I'm now in a foster home. I get to hang out and I'm given the chance to take things in. That's what us shy kitty girls need. Just time to take things in. I like to be petted and if you go really slow you can pick me up. I might put my head under your armpit and give a little purr. That means I'm comfortable.
One day I will have a family of my own. I will have a home that has a big window that I can see the world from the inside and never have to go outside again. Maybe I will have a big cat tree and I can just hang out.
