Hello, my name is Margherita and I'm about 1 1/2 years old. I'm a tiny gal that weighs 6#s.
I was found as a stray in December 2023 but not just me; I gave birth to my 5 babies and boy, were we cold & hungry! Well, my babies were fed because I was a good Mama, but my tummy was rumbling.
I went to the shelter where I found safety and warmth. The nice people took care of me and then when it was time for us to be safely moved, they asked for rescue to help. Treasured Animal Rescue was there licked-y split!
I'm in a foster home now that has other dogs and other cats. Dogs don't bother me because I'm a confident gal. I don't get why they have to bark so much but I do like how they get some food. Food is my love. Well, I love my foster Mom for helping me, but I love her even more when she serves me all this yummy kitty food. Sometimes, when she's eating her meals, I like to put my tiny face by her plate to check things out. I will sneak a piece or two of chicken.
You might not notice by my pictures is I have an extra digit on my paws. My paws are big so when you see me in person you'll see, and I was born with an extra digit. It just makes me even cuter!
I hope one day I have a family of my own and I never have to search for love, food and shelter. I hope you would like to come meet me and see how friendly and confident I am.
