Hi there, my name is Eclipse and I am one years old. I'm a very cool looking dude. Jet black fur with striking green eyes.
In my short years of life, I've had quite the adventure. I was in a home and had a family and then for reasons unknown to me I was brought to a shelter. But they must have taken care of me, and I was kept inside because in the short time they had me they had me declawed. It doesn't bother me that I am missing my kitty nails as I keep myself busy with playing with the other cats and of course my toys.
I'm a quiet boy that is learning the ropes in my foster home. There are other cats & dogs that are also waiting for their families to come meet them. Sometimes, when people come meet other kitties, I come check them out. I am not one of those type of cats that hide. Shoot, I think if I were to hide, you'll never find me because of my black fur.
I'm so glad I didn't stay at the shelter very long. It's sad that black cats get overlooked and then add that I'm no longer a kitten. But I can promise you I'm only 1 years old and I'm young at heart.
