I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Dahlia

I'm Available

Hello, my name is Dahlia, and I am 9 years young.  I'm a pretty Tortie but you know how Tortie's have the "tortitude" attitude?  Not me.  Who needs all that fuss?  I'm a quiet girl that chooses to just hang out either on your lap or cat tree.

I lived with my Human my whole life.  Since I was a wee kitten.  During the time I had my Human and she had me. I was her faithful companion until one day family came and took my friend to another place to live.  They call it an assisted living facility and kitties weren't allowed.

The family couldn't take me with them, so they brought me to a shelter in TN.  Treasured Animal Rescue saw my sad picture and said, "bring her to us - we'll make her happy."

I'm slowly coming out of the "what happened?" phase and making myself comfortable.  As I mentioned, I'm a quiet girl and prefer a quiet home.  There are other cats here and some dogs.  I don't mind the dogs, but they sure do bark a lot!  There's even some Teenagers.  I don't know who's louder - a Teenager or a barking dog.  Ha ha.

I hope one day I can be a faithful companion to a new family.  Someone who can have me on their lap and brush me.  They will say how pretty I am.  I wish I could answer back to say thank you for the kind words but when I purr really loud, you'll know I'm your gal forever.

Can't wait until we meet!

xoxo,

Dahlia
