I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Mia

Hi there! My name is Mia and I am 4 years old German Shepherd mix.  Who cares if I am mix because my beauty and sweetness is what is most important.

My Owners went on vacation, and they left me in the backyard. Being that I'm super smart I escaped my yard. Maybe I was looking for food or looking for people to help me, but Animal Control picked me up and took me to the shelter. There, I got plenty of attention and food.

My Owners knew I was there but left me. They made plans for vacation but no planning for me. Treasured Animal Rescue learned about me and worked really hard to find me a foster home. Who leaves their dog?

I'm now in a foster home that has a friend for me to play with. There's another young dog that we became instant friends. We play and run around. Sometimes we take breaks from our playtime and then that's when I hang out with the Human Teenagers. I like to lick their faces. I'm helping them clean their face from the food they have eaten.

So, food reference. You might think being I was left in the backyard I would have some food issues. Nope, none. I am very treat motivated and you can get me to do anything with treats and of course the scratch of ears or chin.

I am a lady and have no accidents but I'm not crazy about my crate. Maybe if I am the only dog in the house or I have another friend in my forever home I won't need one but when doggies come into foster care, we all go in crates.

I hope one day I will have a forever family that will NEVER leave me behind. Maybe we can go on vacations together. I like car rides and love to go for walks. I might pull a little bit in the beginning but remember I was in a shelter for 2 months so it's going to take me a bit to learn new things.

I hope to learn about my new family that comes to meet me, and you learn about me. I will make you laugh and smile. I promise to be your loyal girl and when my zoomies are over, we can snuggle on the couch.

xoxo,

Mia
