I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Gia

We're happy to tell you that Gia has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Hello!  My name is Gia and I am about a year old.  I weigh a whopping 8#s and I am a Llasa Apso/Pekinese mix.  Have you seen my pictures?  Pretty cute, huh?

I have long wavy hair that is chocolate color and some highlights of white. I bet some women pay big bucks for my hair coloring.  My rescuers think some of it is natural but if you look closely my chocolate hair has also highlight of maroon.  I don't think that's natural for doggies like me.

But what is natural for me is I am a spunky gal.  Love to run around and play with other dogs.  I will also follow you and when you go to sit down and relax, I like to be on your lap.  When you go to the front door, I try to follow you, so you have to be careful I don't run out.  Maybe that's how I became a stray.

I am in a foster home with other dogs and cats.  I met some kids too and I am ok with them.  I'm a young gal that has her whole life ahead of her and I hope one day I will have a nice family that will dress me up in frilly girly dresses and when my hair is needing some TLC I get to go to the doggie salon.  I like having my hair brushed.  But silly me, I run around and it looks like I need to be brushed again.

My foster family thinks I won't do well in an apartment or a condo.  If I am left alone, I might bark or as my foster Mom says I squeak.  And its loud!

You ready for a spunky gal that loves life and loves people?  If so, then let's set up a play date and you can come meet me.

xoxo,

Gia
