Hello, my name is Felix, and I am 4 years old. You probably saw my cute pictures and wonder what breed am I. My foster Mom calls me a Scruffy. Is there such a breed like that?
I was found as a stray, and I really needed a haircut and a bath. I was so dirty. Little doggies get dirty fast especially when we like to play outside. When I went to the doggie barber, I was so good as I was getting bathed and a haircut. The nice lady who gave me a haircut said I was so good, I sat like a perfect Gentleman.
My days of being a stray are all over. I like to play with the other dogs in my foster home. There are cats here too. I ignore them. I don't try to get into their litterbox or even sneak their food although I am a Foodie! I love food.
I'm the first one to go outside and I like to lead the pack. I guess you can say I am a pretty confident chap. I love it when my foster Mom gives me praise especially when the "good boy" is followed with a doggie treat.
Speaking of playing! I love toys and chasing balls. But the best of all I love to be held. I like it when my foster Mom holds me. I put my nose under her chin and I just sigh. I'm so happy when I'm being held. I feel safe.
I love car rides and going for walks. I sleep & eat in my crate, but I really don't need a crate as I don't get into things. I'm a quiet boy and only bark when I hear the neighbors next doors doggies bark. I'm curious (hello! I'm a Terrier) to know why they are barking. My foster Mom will tell me "Felix, be quiet" and I walk over to her.
I'm going to need a fenced yard. I never want to be a stray again and in my foster home there's a big backyard that I love to run around and with a tie out I will have a hard time. How do you run on a tie out?
