Hi there! My name is Chico and I am a Yorkie mix. I weigh 16#s. I'm on the taller side for the average Yorkie but I'm just as cute.
Someone thought it was a good idea to give me to a family member as a gift. They tried taking care of me but they said they couldn't afford me so they brought me to the shelter. Treasured Animal Rescue just happened to be there the day I came in and I was brought to their foster home. Whew!
In my foster home I have little dogs like me who are looking for their forever homes. There's a big girl who plays with us but boy, is she big! She and I chase each other. I love to play ball so when my foster Mom throws the ball I outrun Miss Serena. I have another friend here and she's my size. We both chase for the ball and being the Gentleman I am I let her have the ball.
I ignore the cats that live here. Who needs to play with cats when I have so many doggie friends.
I hope one day I will have a family again. Maybe they will have a fenced yard and I can run around and play ball. The notes from my original family said I lived with kids and I was ok with them. We don't know how I'll be living in an apartment in the barking department being my foster home is a house and well, there's a lot of barking from us Littles. So caution on those who live in apartments.
