Hello, my name is BonBon and I am 2 years old. I'm a puzzle of a dog. One piece of me is Yorkie (coloring). Another is a Poodle (hair) and Doxie (body) but the last piece, the best piece is Cuteness!
My family went somewhere and for some reason they put me in boarding at a vet's office. Sadly, they never came back. The kind vet waited 30 days, but nobody came looking for me. One of the Techs that worked there knew someone at the local shelter and asked for help. The kind vet let me stay there until rescue was secured. Treasured Animal Rescue saw my picture and loved my puzzle look!
I'm in a foster home in Romeoville and I have other little dogs to play with. I’m learning to share my toys and not be so sassy. My foster Mom tells me stop being so sassy and play nice. Maybe in my past home I always got my way. Well, of course! I'm young and beautiful - why wouldn't I use my looks to get away with things. But in the time, I've been in my foster home I'm learning the word NO. I am being taught something called structure or direction and you know what, I don't mind it. Because I see how happy my foster Mom gets when I respond to her.
I haven't been around little kids so maybe a caution with me on kids. Maybe they can come to visit. I need a fenced yard as I love to run around the yard and chase birds or squirrels. I know I can't catch them, but I like to bark at them and chase.
Speaking of barking, well you know us little dogs bark and my foster home is a house so if the other dogs & I bark no neighbors will complain. Another caution is no apartments. Once I get my forever home I don't want to move again, and I might not do well in an apartment.
