I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Bear

I'm Available

Hello!  My name is Bear and I weigh 14#s.  I have other silly nicknames:  Teddy Bear (I give hugs), Bear Bear or Beary Bear.  I come to all those names because I know something good is going to come my way.

I'm in a foster home that has other dogs and cats.  When I came into my foster home, I was nervous.  The only person I knew was my foster Mom, so I was her shadow.  If I could crawl under her sweatshirt - I would.  But she let me meet the other dogs and cats slowly and I trusted her.  In no time, I became friends with them.  The big dog was the scariest!  Now?  We all go outside and play.  It's fun.  I like playing chase.  It's fun.  The big dog can't catch us.  We run too fast for her.

Inside, we all are couch potatoes.  My favorite spot is on my foster Mom's lap.  She said I'm not just a lap dog but I'm her lap blanket because my long fur keeps her warm. Speaking of my fur - it's long.  I like to be brushed and that's something you'll have to keep me up on - my grooming so I can stay handsome.

The cats here in my foster home I just ignore.  They are my size, and I don't bother them.

At nighttime, I sleep in my foster Grandma's room.  I get my own doggie bed.  I don't need a crate.  I was in a home that crated me a long time and because my foster Mom knew that she said Beary Bear - no crates. So, I get my own doggie bed but even that I wasn't sure what it was.  So, I chose the floor.

I cry or whimper when I have to go outside.  I don't mind the cold weather.  I like it when all of us little dogs go outside. It's like a little doggie train.  We all follow each other outside to do our business and then we play.  But we don't stay outside long - too cold!

Maybe the day I meet my new family they will have another doggie friend for me.  We can cuddle on the couch together and then go outside to play.

Oh, I forgot one thing!  All my pictures all look alike but look carefully at my face - my adorable face.  I have a cute underbite.  My foster Mom thinks that makes me more precious!

Please fill out an adoption application and our fun will begin!
