I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is San Bernardino

Hi there!  My name is San Bernardino and I'm part of the California litter.  California?  Did I come from CA? No, our Mommy's name is Cali(fornia) so that's how we got our names.

We were born in our foster home on 2/21/2024.  We are so lucky to be born in a warm, loving foster home vs a shelter.  Our Mama took really good care of us, and she told us it's time for us to find our forever family because her days of taking care of us is over.

I love to play - hello!  I'm a puppy.  I'm going to grow up to be a big boy. I already weigh 37s at 24 weeks of age and Mama weighs 65#. We don't know who our Daddy is. I think he was just a boy from the neighborhood who came to visit one day.

You may notice I have something different than my sisters.  I'm missing one eye.  But don't worry!  I have been taken good care by my foster Mom and our doggie vet.  See, when I was really young (4 weeks old) my Mama accidentally stepped on me.  My foster Mom noticed it right away and ran me to the vet.  She had me in her arms and said "San Bernardino - you are going to be ok".  Did you know when doggies are born, we can't see.  So, losing one eye is no big deal.  I can still see out of my left eye and of course, my playing has not been affected at all.  I love to play and chase my siblings.

I love to play outside and water is my favorite. I help my foster Mom when she waters her plants.  I get in the way so I can help with the water.  Maybe I will have a kiddie pool in my new home.

I am going to grow up to be a big boy and I can't wait to have a family of my own.  My foster Mom tells us CA puppies that we better be extra cute for when our family's come look at us.  I hope my family will teach me all the things' puppies need to learn. Walking on leash, potty training and puppy training!

I'm learning potty training.  At nighttime I'm in a crate by myself.  It's to help me to be able to be on my own when I go to my forever home.  I don't cry at nighttime aaannnd I don't have accidents!  One day I will master my potty training.  I'm learning the bell system.  I know when my foster Mom says the word "outside" we go to the back door.  She touches the bell and one day one of us doggies will learn.
