Hello! My name is Molly and I'm a pretty orange & white tabby. Vets guess my age around 3 years old.
My family brought me to a kill shelter when they thought I was pregnant. I had already delivered 4 litters of kittens and they said no more. Why they wouldn't just spay me so I would have no more kittens and keep my home - I don't know.
TAR Vet checked me out and said, no kittens. This sweet girl is just a bit chubby! How dare he! No girl wants to hear she's chubby, but I guess I rather be chubby than have more babies.
So, that's the reason I was brought to a shelter and Treasured Animal Rescue saw my picture and said, "bring her to us". They took care of all my vetting - no more babies for me and my foster Mom said "Molly, it's your turn to be taken care of and we'll treat you like a Princess". Hmm, Princess Molly - I like that.
My foster home has other cats. Some are younger than me or a bit older. I am ok with all of them. I like to have my food to myself (uh, I guess back to that chubby remark). I won't hiss at another cat that comes near when I'm dining but I like to have my own space. My foster Mom set me up in an area that I call my castle. It's where I can watch all the activity in the home and when I think I can sneak a petting on a lap I hop on my foster Mom's lap.
There are also teenagers and other dogs that live here. Lots of activity and I am ok with it but then again, I like to go to my castle and just watch. I also like to lounge around near the windows and look out.
I look out the window because I'm waiting for my forever family to come meet me. Maybe they will have a nice window I can lounge and hopefully when I get settled, I can be their Princess Molly. I won't need a tiara - I just need to be pampered.
Can't wait to meet you!
Molly
