Hello! My name is Diamond and I'm 7 months old. I am a Catahoula mix. It's hard to tell by my pictures but I have the coolest markings on my body. They are merle markings, and they go beautifully with my striking eyes. I weigh 47#s.
I'm in a foster home that has other dogs & cats. I've been around kids too and I like to play with them. I have many friends here in my foster home. I make friends with all the dogs. I show them our routine. When we are good doggies, we get treats. Being in my foster home and getting great treats and good food I've grown so big. I grew like a weed! My foster Mom says I have Supermodel legs. They are tall and lanky. I think one day I will grow into them.
I've gotten better with my potty training. I'm a quiet girl so I don't bark or whine when I have to tell you I need to do my business. I do these little circles and that's my sign. I sleep in my crate at nighttime and follow the dogs outside to do their business. I like going outside. In the morning, I see kids going to school and I just sit by the fence wondering where they are going. Maybe I had a family once before that had kids. I miss having a family.
I ignore the cats that live here and I'm a quiet girl. I rarely bark but I do like exploring in their litterboxes. My foster Mom catches me, and I get corrected. I take correction very well. I don't know why kitty food is so yummy, but I get corrected a lot going into their food.
My favorite part of the day is when we all chill out on the couch. I make sure I am sitting by my foster Mom and she pets my ears.
I hope one day I will have my own family that will take me for long walks and maybe even puppy training. I bet I'll be the smartest pup there. I not only have good looks in my corner I'm a smart cookie.
