Hello, my name is Oscar, and I am 4 years old. You probably saw my cute pictures and wonder what breed am I. My foster Mom calls me a Scruffy. Is there such a breed like that?
I was found as a stray, and I really needed a haircut and a bath. I was so dirty. White doggies get dirty fast especially when we like to play outside. When I went to the doggie barber, I was so good as I was getting bathed and a haircut.
My days of being a stray are all over. I like to play with the other dogs in my foster home. There are cats here too and sometimes I will bark at them but I'm trying to engage play - my butts in the air and I'm trying to say, "let's play!"
Speaking of playing! I love toys and chasing balls. But the best of all I love to be held. I like it when my foster Mom holds me. I put my nose under her chin and I just sigh. I'm so happy when I'm being held. I feel safe.
I love car rides and going for walks. I sleep & eat in my crate, but I really don't need a crate as I don't get into things. Sometimes I mark in the house, but you have to watch me as I lift my leg. I know I'm supposed to go outside and most times I do but I was just neutered so I might slip up once in a while.
I'm going to need a fenced yard. I never want to be a stray again and in my foster home there's a big backyard that I love to run around and with a tie out I will have a hard time. How do you run on a tie out?
